Our services are designed to assist students and families in navigating the complex college search process. We offer personalized guidance based on individual strengths, interests, and aspirations, drawing from our extensive experience in higher education.

9th Grade Package

College Search Kickstart

This service package will get you started on the college search process. In addition to learning what parents and students can expect over the next few years, we’ll focus on academic and extra-curricular planning to ensure your coursework aligns with your goals.

10th Grade Package

Concrete Strategies

In addition to learning how to navigate the college search process, this service package will equip you with concrete strategies for completing college applications. We will also explore your strengths through personality and aptitude assessments and begin planning college visits.

11th Grade Package

Customized Support

As the college search process accelerates during the junior year, this service package will provide customized support that results in a balanced list of colleges to explore.  Through an online portal, you will be able to research colleges as we develop a timeline for completing college applications.  You will also receive support with the financial aid process and learn how to best prepare for the senior year.

12th Grade Package

The Finish Line

This service package typically starts in the summer prior to the senior year as we help students finalize their college list and begin completing application and financial aid forms.  In addition to providing you with college essay writing support, you will receive a detailed timeline for completing all aspects of up to 12 college applications.  Once you receive admissions decisions, we will provide guidance on selecting a college and help prepare you for this exciting transition.

This service package will provide you with all of the services detailed in our four “Grade” packages at a discounted rate.

Specialty Packages

College List Builder

  • This service package will result in an information packet describing up to 15 colleges that have been identified as “good match” colleges for the client. It includes four one-hour meetings on the following topics:

    • Navigating the college list building process

    • Identifying “good match” colleges

    • Researching college options

    • Creating the college list

 

Application Essentials

  • This service package will result in a detailed timeline for completing all aspects of up to 12 college applications. It includes up to four one-hour meetings on the following topics:

    • Meeting application deadlines

    • Personal Statement and Essay evaluation

    • Financial Aid

    • Final application review

 

College Essay Support

  • This service package provides dedicated support for the Common Application Personal Statement, UC Personal Interest Questions, and supplemental essays.  Working with a Wow-certified Essay Coach, you will receive guidance with essay development through a simple 10-step process.

 

Strategies for the Scholar Athlete

  • This service package provides guidance for athletes striving to compete at the collegiate level.  It includes up to four one-hour meetings on the following topics:

    • Recruiting 101

    • Developing a Recruitment Strategy

    • Communicating with coaches

    • Scholarships

Hourly Support

We are committed to providing you with support as needed.  Hourly consultations are available on a variety of topics such as:
